La cinquième édition de la Summer School « Connecting your IoT Devices » s’est tenue du 10 juin au 2 juillet 2025. Elle a débuté par une semaine de conférences en ligne, suivie de deux semaines en présentiel à l'Enssat, à Lannion.
Cette année, nous avons eu le plaisir d’accueillir 18 étudiants venus de divers horizons : Italie, Allemagne, Norvège, Espagne, Roumanie, Irlande, Lettonie, Pakistan et Ouzbékistan. Leur accueil a été assuré par le service des relations Internationales de l’École, représenté par Claire Le Page et Anne-Perrine Constantin, ainsi que par deux moniteurs d’accueil : Alexandre Martin-Lefèvre et Louis Thomas-Girardey.
Le cœur du programme reposait sur un projet technologique autour des objets connectés, encadré par les enseignants Olivier Berder, Matthieu Gautier, Antoine Courtay et Mickaël Le Gentil. Nous avons également eu l’honneur de recevoir la professeure Lucia Pintor, de l’Université de Cagliari, ainsi que Philippe Quémerais, intervenant sur un module dédié à l’éco-conception. Ce projet était mené en partenariat avec l’entreprise Éco-Compteur de Lannion : M. Matthieu Pelingre a accueilli les étudiants dans les locaux de l’entreprise et assisté à leurs présentations finales.
En complément des enseignements techniques, les étudiants ont pu suivre des cours d’initiation au français dispensés par Nathalie Caradec et Carine Hutton (English Connect). Un atelier de communication interculturelle animé par Claire Le Page a également enrichi leur expérience.
Cette édition a pu être organisée grâce au précieux soutien de nos partenaires : le Lions Club, la Fondation Université Rennes et la DARI (Direction des Affaires et Relations Internationales), que nous remercions chaleureusement pour leur accompagnement financier.

The fifth edition of the "Connecting your IoT Devices" Summer School took place from June 10 to July 2, 2025. It began with a week of online lectures, followed by two weeks of in-person sessions at ENSSAT in Lannion.
This year, we had the pleasure of welcoming 18 students from a wide range of countries: Italy, Germany, Norway, Spain, Romania, Ireland, Latvia, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan. They were welcomed by the school's International Relations Office, represented by Ms. Claire Le Page and Ms. Anne Perrine Constantin, along with two student ambassadors, Alexandre Martin-Lefèvre and Louis Thomas-Girardey.
The core of the program focused on a technological project related to connected devices, supervised by Professors Olivier Berder, Matthieu Gautier, Antoine Courtay, and Mickaël Le Gentil. We were honored to host Professor Lucia Pintor from the University of Cagliari, and Mr. Philippe Quémerais, who led a module on eco-design. This project was carried out in collaboration with the company Eco-Compteur in Lannion: Mr. Matthieu Pelingre welcomed the students to the company and attended their final presentations.
In addition to the technical content, students benefited from introductory French classes taught by Ms. Nathalie Caradec and Ms. Carine Hutton (English Connect). They also participated in a workshop on intercultural communication led by Ms. Claire Le Page.
The Summer School combined academic learning with sports and cultural activities. Highlights of this edition included an introduction to golf in Bégard, kayaking at the Port Blanc water sports center with Bertrand Lefebvre, a day trip to Mont-Saint-Michel, and an introduction to the Breton culture.
